    lobster-tail-for-lunch

If you want to be a gourmet chef for your family, self, or date, nothing impresses and
delights like Lobster tail! It doesn’t take hardly much work however to create the food
the world of fine dining always comes back to time and time again… this is how you do it!
Buy one medium lobster tail per serving…
arrange lobster tail, hard side up, on a broiler pan… cut down the middle of the tail,
leaving 1 inch uncut on the shell…then loosen the meat from around the shell itself.
You will want to pull the meat up on top of the shell, making sure to leave meat attached
to the end of the tail… slash 6 times crosswise… Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees,
basting every five minutes with this baste: ½ cup butter, melted, ¼ cup lemon juice,
2 tbsp parsley flakes, and salt and pepper to taste.

    espressocake

Espresso desserts are the way to go this summer.. they contain enough caffeine to
give you a boost and are unbelievably delicious…coffee desserts are not new,
they have been around for ages…I was at my favorite face and had a delicious
espresso torte… it was better than plain cheesecake or a cookie or muffin…
and it was around 5$ — more than I wanted to pay, but not highway robbery.
This experience got me thinking however…what if I could make my own?
After a few on line searches I found this site and I’m spending Sunday
whipping up my own! Check it out at:

    apple_pie

I was talking just the other day with a friend…who is an apple pie expert of sorts…
and she was telling me about the very best apple pie…her favorite … but before I tell
you the very best pie ingredients…. you should know…apple pie is made with apples…
crust, sugar and spices…the best spice to use is cinnamon! With lots of sugar —
the sweeter the better…you can make sure that your apple pie is made with these,
and then to top it off… Pie ala mode with not regular vanilla, but French vanilla
ice cream. You can try other combinations of spices or other things…but sandy
swears this is the best..and she would know!

Tired of the same old haunts?…it can be fun to find one place and go over and over again..
but sooner or later, if you are like me, you will want to branch out and try something new…
me and my best female friend have a lot of time on our hands…and we just got sick of driving
around… we had no idea where to find new spots and we had had it up to here! The easiest
way to find a new restaurant in your area is to do a comprehensive search on line…the easiest
way to accomplish this is to type in the type of food you are interested in ( ire. pizza )
…and then type in your towns name… with meta keywords you will get the latest results
right in front of you…then get reading… and head out!

    soup

If you’re tired of the same old soups in a can – try something new and make your own! Its
not that hard, and it beats canned soup dead cold for taste and healthiness… there are
so many ways to make fresh homemade gourmet soup that it’s mind boggling (I bought store
bought for years… always frustrated by the preservatives and junk I just didn’t like or
want — and soup IS my thing ) …the key to gourmet soup is fresh ingredients and a plan…

Buying the right blender can be a life changing experience! The right choice for a smoothie
depends on what you want out of it… you can get fresh bananas, strawberries, blueberries,
and other fruits…such as oranges or even melon!… using a regular size blender you’ll
get a yield of about two smoothies by adding about 1 cup of fruit, an equal amount of ice,
and a smoothie mix pack — all in all it will cost from 3-5$ if you shop wisely! Buying
smoothie mixes in bulk will save money over the long run, and don’t buy too much fruit at
once, it has a habit of going bad quickly!

Cheap, delicious, and easy to make, homemade bread is what smart health conscious
people have long known is the only real choice if you want to eat right…
( my dad used to make homemade bread, the egg salad sandwiches he created were beyond compare).
There really isn’t a comparison between homemade bread and store bought, mass produced bread.
Store bought bread is full of additives, always tastes predictably the same, with lots of
fillers and substandard ingredients…it just isn’t the same as homemade.
Homemade is better because the ingredients are fresh, and the texture and consistency
are divine. Try it and you’ll never go back!

All you need is a pan and a rack to create great home cooked meals that do not
    produce or use fat!
Vegetables retain their flavor and all their natural vitamins through steam
cooking — and they don’t get mushy or hard from either boiling or frying,
respectively. You can also steam fish and and rice, or mouth watering spicy
meat dishes…the basics are the same, you prepare your foods and then you set
up your steamer — the pan can be a sauce pan and the rack can be found at
most stores that deal in cooking utensils…get ready to eat healthy, and
steamed food just tastes better than any other cooking method
( to me at least…many people feel the same).

Nothing will get your energy going in the morning like a gourmet breakfast…of bagels!
Get your self some fresh bagels to start with… water bagels or fresh bakery bagels
are the best.. prepackaged bagels that are in bags for god knows how long are not
recommended here… toast your fresh bagels first to a delicious golden brown…
immediately prepare with real butter ( add generously)…then you can go further…
cream cheese isn’t what it used to be…it’s better! Philadelphia brand is my favorite
but you can get different flavors of cream cheese these days, such as onion, veggie,
or even fruit flavors…add some fresh lox from the supermarket, and you will be eating
like a king in no time!

Everyone loves some great junk food in awhile, but you can have your yum factor
and still eat healthy. How? Grilled Cheese sandwiches! And tomato soup! The cost
of two slices of bread, two slices of cheese, and a bowl of tomato soup cost less
than 1.50 on average…of course you can add a variety of other ingredients and
upgrade your pig out — but is it really a pig out if you add avocados, tomatoes or
red onion? Sounds like health food to me! Grilled cheese facts – around since the
1920’s, grilled cheese started as an open face sandwich and then in the 1960’s,
the top slice was added…time to eat!
